Happy pub day @authorwaderouse for That’s What Friends Are For! I listened to this from @netgalley, so thank you to the publisher!

Such a fun story! From the premise of the Golden Girls (but with four gay men), to the witty banter, I couldn’t have asked for a more entertaining read! And while this sounds like it was all fun, there was a serious side to counteract the giggles. This was about four men, all with differing issues, who come together to help each other get through life’s messes. I loved the friendship and found family. I could have spent another few hundred pages with these men!

I was provided a listening copy, and the multiple narrators were excellent. Each gave a distinct voice to Teddy, Rob, Barry, and Sal. I highly recommend the audio version, although I have to go out and get a physical copy so I can reread all my favorite parts!

February wrap up. The Olympics were all consuming

February wrap up. The Olympics were all consuming this month so I’m actually surprised I had 17 books (15 audio, 1 physical, 1 e-book). Lots of 3 stars this month, but I did have a five star in This Book Made Me Think of You.

Eeeeek!!! Did you hear my squeals this morning when I opened my email to discover this? We get another of @kristywharvey’s Peachtree Bluff series, this time set in the fall! Falling for Peachtree Bluff is coming September 15, 2026.

I can’t wait to catch up with my favorite family, and can you already imagine what Coffee Kyle will have brewing for fall?

I have read all of this author’s work, and No Exit is one of my all time favorite thrillers! I was excited to get into this one. While it didn’t grab me right away (caving isn’t something even remotely on my radar), once the story got rolling I couldn’t turn pages fast enough. The twists were plentiful and really good, and the whole dark foreboding of being in a confined space was so well portrayed. This one is pulse pounding good!
